1977 United States, set of 16 stickers.

U.S. Adpac stickers.  This is a 16 sticker set, that was originally found in cereal boxes (1 sticker in each box). Inside the cereal boxes, each sticker would have been sealed in a small plastic pouch.  There is also a French-Canadian set, very similar but with French translations. These are on very light stock paper, with blank backs, and are larger than regular sized trading cards.

Also, this is an uncut sheet.  Thanks to Fred Bubenheimer for this rarity; Fred was the original artist that drew the background and did the layout for this sticker set!

There are also variations where the printing of the captions was not complete.  I've seen this misprint for several different cards; an entire set of them is probably possible.
