1977 Italy, set of 256 + albums.
This set was printed in Italy by Figurine Panini for Star Wars in 1977. This is a large set, a total of 256 stickers that were meant to be stuck in a sticker album. Although the stickers were printed in Italy, the sticker albums and the sticker packets had several designs for several foreign markets. The stickers were distributed throughout several countries as is evident based on the 6 language translations on the back of each sticker (thanks to Duncan Jenkins, the languages in order are English, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Spanish).
The scans include the back and fronts of two versions of the sticker packet. The backs were the same, the fronts different. There is at least one version that I don't have. The scans also include sample stickers, with the backings still on them. Some of the stickers were stand-alone scenes and others would be stuck together on a single page of the album to form a larger picture. Finally there are scans of the Italian and German sticker albums. They were actually too big to fit completely on my oversized flatbed scanner - so they are fairly big.
WANTS FROM THIS SET: Unopened packet or wrapper variations not shown, packet boxes, promotional/advertising items, any albums not shown or complete albums (the ones I have are only partially complete), and also the variation of this set with "printed in Italy EMZ" in the fine print (samples, or complete set of 256).
