1983 Sweden: sets of 6, 104, 78, & 104 (total 292) cards.

Swedish Star Wars cards are often referred to as being one series - when there are in fact four different series.

The first series of cards was issued in 1977 in a series of "Pop artists".  Only six of the cards were Star Wars-related and to make things more exciting - two of the cards shared the same number - 78.  These say "©Universaltryck Grafiska AB" on the short side of each card, and are labeled "Star Wars" in Swedish: "Stjärnornas Krig".  Thanks to Colin Kelly, these are numbered 31, 77, 78, 78, 113, and 125.

The next Star Wars set was issued by the company Nellba in 1983. These are numbered 201-278 and 301-326. Most of these cards (but not all of them) are labeled with a description of what they show, i.e. if the card depicts Luke Skywalker it says so.  The name of the producer (Nellba) is printed on the flipside of the cards.   This is a subset of cards that was part of a larger set that included other subjects, referred to as the "Filmisar" set, hence the odd numbering.

The third Star Wars set runs between 201 and 278 and carries the text "TM ©Lucas Film 1983 Arr." on the short end of the cards. The flipside is blank. All of these cards are labeled "Star Wars" in Swedish: "Stjärnornas Krig". These are the most common.  I believe that these were part of a "second printing" of the "Filmisar" set that wasn't as extensive as the first printing.

The final set is the most difficult to obtain. It's identical to the second set (201-278, 301-326), but carries no text on the flipside.  Another printing of the "Fimlisar" set?

To recap, here's a checklist:

And here is a scan of an unopened pack, containing 7 cards:

And here are some more pack variations.  These contain 7 of the "Nellba" cards, all with the English text (heavy on the high numbers 301-326, but also some of the lower numbers with the English text variation).  These are fairly rare cards in MINT condition, so these packs are a nice find.

WANTS FROM THIS SET:  All of the first (1977) set except the one pictured, many others - write for a list.
