1984 Holland, set of 100.

Here's a nice set, Holland's Monty Fabrieken "Return of the Jedi" set from 1984.  This is an odd set for a couple of reasons.  The cards are smaller than U.S. traditional size cards, there are 100 cards in the set, and the packs do not come sealed (they are more like small envelopes).  And that's not all - the cards themselves are made in perforated sheets and come connected (somewhat) in panels of 6 inside the packs. Worst of all is the distribution - a full box of 100 packs from the factory would likely contain 600 cards that wouldn't even make up half of a set (with hundreds of duplicates - sometimes 10 or more of the same card).  All in all though, this is a visually appealing set, and it's vastly different from the U.S. ROTJ sets.  I like it, and I recommend it to you.  The full name of the company that makes this set is Monty Fabrieken, and the cards were made and distributed in Holland in 1983/84.  Pictured are cards #1-3, an unopened pack, and the 100 ct. box.  The backs of the cards are plain cardboard.  If possible, I recommend that you just buy a complete set; it's way too hard to buy singles (or a box) and trade to complete a set.

WANTS FROM THIS SET: None.
