TR-08 The Bump-N-Uglies "Diary of a Madman" 7"
The Bump-N-Uglies were a huge part of the Detroit hardcore scene at the time, and would have been a top choice by Transparent Records even if Amado Movado had not been a friend. The Bump-N-Uglies had always been ECW fans, and had always mixed ECW-style wrestling with their live shows. Being that Madman Pondo was one of their favorites, it was only natural that this record be a tribute to the Madman himself. This was the first release with sleeve printing by Thingmakers, who did a great job in full color even though it was not necessarily requested due to the Transparent Records budget. The Bump-N-Uglies organized a great record-release party for this single, which included an appearance by Madman Pondo to sign records and wrestle during a break in the show. As always, blood, sweat and mayhem ensued.
