TR-07 The New Jacobin Club "A Lesson in Mortality" 7"
The New Jacobin were the first (and only) band to sign up for a record that were not in the U.S. The New Jacobin Club really didnt have the garage or hardcore sound that I was looking for, but again they were very persistent and reasonably guaranteed that they would buy up all of the records so that I would easily break even. They also promised to do a majority of the work on the release, including advertising and distribution. In the interest of adding new releases, and expanding the label outside of the U.S., Transparent Records signed them up. True to their word, they helped with the release and bought all of the unsold copies. The New Jacobin Club also contributed a song to the "Mechanized Death: An Accused Tribute" 2x7" that would be released years later.
